Rested Development

Team Schmitty has been performing some serious chillaxing of late. They say that part of training is proper rest - whether that's getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night, taking a day off during a training week, or an extended period of down time after a long season. Training breaks your body down. Rest and recovery builds it back up.

Since Ironman I've been on a rest and recovery bender....totally embracing my inner slacker. My only exercise in the morning is hitting the snooze button.
